Question 1: Which institutions are behind this band/artist and in
what ways is this relevant?
Fueled by Ramen are a record company that focuses mainly around Rock music- Indie rock,
pop punk, alternative rock, punk rock, ska punk, alternative hip hop and emo. This is relevant to the band Paramore because they fall within this category of music and Fueled by Ramen are very well known in the music industry to record and promote "Rock" bands so they will have a better understanding then any other companies on how to promote this band and how to present them and attract them to their target audience.

- They have their latest blog posts on the website from the artists within the band posting themselves letting fans know what they are up to and also competitions coming up and new merchandise.
-There is also a function where they have videos of the band in their daily life which allows the audience get to know what they are really like behind the music.
-They also have a twitter section which a social network site also focusing mainly on the audience allowing them to be in contact with the artists.
-There is also a section for their latest shows keeping the fans up to date with when the band are next performing.

Paramore are an alternative rock band that have released three albums. their website is constructed in the style of their third album to promote the album itself. |

Question 4: Who is the target audience for the band artist and how do you know?
The target audience for Paramore are both genders between the ages of 15-30. This is because of the style of the website which is quite sophisticated like their third album and more adult like. Also, the band was signed at young age so is aimed at the younger rock generation however can still be enjoyable to the older generation. They preferably appeal more to females as the leading singer Hayley williams is seen as a strong female however it appeals to boys as they see her more as a sex icon.

Question 5: How is the website designed to appeal to the target audience?
The website is in the style of the bands third album which from this image is quite sophisticated yet still in a rock image because of the font for the bands name and the logo of the ripped butterfly. the sophisticated look shows how the band have grown up from when they were younger in this industry. It definitely appeals to the target audience because it still has its edgy rock look to it but contradicts itself in its simplicity in which reflects their target audience of being edgy but still grabbing the middle age generations attention of being quite simple.
